Legend has it that gyros sandwiches were first introduced in the US around 1965 at Greek restaurants around our hometown of Chicago.  Pronounced “YEE-ro,” from the Greek word for “spin,” gyro meat is now found rotating on vertical broilers nationwide.  Our gyro seasoning is a perfect blend of classic Greek flavors: garlic, oregano and thyme with a hint of lemon.  Try freshly-made gyros sandwiches for dinner, or use this blend to add bold Greek flavor to potatoes or roasted vegetables.  Tzatziki Sauce is the classic gyro accompaniment.  Make your own with our Homemade Tzatziki Sauce Recipe.
