Deer Burgers

You Need:

  • 1 pound deer meat, ground
  • 1/4 pound bacon, ground
  • Spice Heist Crosstown Steak Rub
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Your favorite burger toppings

How To:

  1.  In a large bowl mix bacon and deer meat until well blended.
  2. Form into 4 equal sized patties slightly bigger then your bun. The patty will reduce in size during cooking.
  3. Season both sides of the party’s with an even layer Crosstown Seasoning Blend.
  4. Brush grill or skillet with oil to prevent sticking.  Grill or pan fry using a heavy skillet.  Cook 3-5 minutes a side depending on the thickness of the patties.  The internal temperature should reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Place on a toasted bun with your favorite toppings.
  6. Enjoy the flavor!
